WSPA The WSPA's aim is to promote protection and prevent cruelty and the inhumane treatment of animals in every part of the world. Our animal welfare programmes work through a mix of direct fieldwork, campaigning, education and training, and member society development. We work on issues such as the commercial exploitation of wildlife and the welfare of farm and companion animals, and also provide emergency relief and aid to the animal victims of disasters across the world. The WSPA represents the world's largest federation of animal welfare societies, with over 730 member societies in more than 145 countries. This ensures that we can mobilise hundreds of thousands of people across the world to address global animal welfare issues, and means that wherever animal welfare problems are identified, the WSPA is on hand to provide a quick response and a lasting change. |
